Dr Türkay – Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery

Dr. Türkay Gökeri combines advanced surgical techniques with an artistic approach to deliver outstanding results. Having trained at the prestigious Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, he has honed his expertise at leading institutions, including Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu Hospital in Istanbul.

Dr. Türkay has actively contributed to the field through research, presentations, and specialised training in microsurgery, rhinoplasty, and body contouring techniques. His commitment to innovation is evident in his work on reconstructive procedures, hand surgery, and oncologic reconstruction.

Dr RABICAN AKKANAT – Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery

Dr Rabican Akkanat has a refined approach that combines surgical precision, aesthetic vision and personalised patient care. As a female plastic surgeon, she brings a sensitive and detail-oriented perspective to aesthetic surgery, with a deep understanding of women’s expectations, concerns and desire for natural yet attractive results.

Born in Nicosia, Cyprus, she completed her medical degree at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine,Istanbul. Driven by her passion for plastic surgery, Dr Akkanat gained international clinical experience at BG University Hospital Bergmannsheil, affiliated with Ruhr University Bochum in Germany, where she observed advanced practices in plastic and hand surgery, burn treatment and oncologic reconstruction. She later completed her specialist training at Ankara City Hospital, one of the region’s largest and most comprehensive medical centres, gaining extensive experience in aesthetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, hand surgery and microsurgery.

Dr Akkanat’s areas of special interest include natural rhinoplasty, facial aesthetics including facelift, temporal lift, blepharoplasty, otoplasty also nonsurgical technoques, breast shaping, body contouring and female genital aesthetic surgery. Her aesthetic philosophy focuses on creating elegant, balanced and natural-looking results that complement each patient’s face, body proportions, femininity and personal expectations.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Akkanat has contributed to the academic field through scientific publications, medical book translations, and national and international congress presentations.

Dr Murat Bilgin – Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Dr Murat Bilgin is a highly skilled and dedicated plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgeon with extensive experience in a wide range of cosmetic surgery procedures. He graduated from Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine and has since worked in respected hospitals including Küçükçekmece Hospital and Zonguldak Hospital, where he refined his surgical expertise.

Dr Bilgin’s areas of special interest include tummy tuck, breast augmentation and lift, liposuction, Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), mommy makeover, arm and leg lifts, and neck liposuction. He is also experienced in advanced facial procedures such as rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, brow lift, canthoplasty, lip lift, and bichectomy.

Passionate about helping patients achieve natural, harmonious results, Dr Bilgin is committed to using the latest surgical techniques to ensure safe and effective outcomes. His approach is patient-focused, aiming to deliver results that enhance both appearance and confidence.

Dr. Dudu – Aesthetic Dentist

Dr.Dt. Dudu is our cosmetic dentist and aesthetic technician. She has a masters degree in dental aesthetics and a PhD in periodontology.  She has over 15 years experience as a dentist and specialises in dental crowns and implants.

She is highly active in undertaking professional development and is a regular attendee of international conferences, training courses and she has also been invited as a guest speaker on several television programmes to share her expertise.

Dr. Sert – HAIR TRANSPLANT

We have worked exclusively with Dr Sert, our hair transplant expert and his team since 2019. He trained under Prof Dr Sensoz Omer, the renowned plastic surgeon, now in his 70s. His training took place at the Istanbul Estetica Hair Transplant Clinic. Since completing his training he has been practising for 8 years and is widely recognised as a leading authority on hair transplant surgery.

Gill Hodson – International Patient Coordinator

Before coming on board, Gill had accumulated years of experience in Customer Service and Programme Management.  For many years, she has worked alongside Dr Bugra, ensuring that patients experiences are carefully planned and executed.  She answers all questions and makes sure that patients are prepared adequately for their procedures, and receive help while in Cyprus as well as after they have returned home providing a comprehensive aftercare package.

Lynsey Hodson – International Patient Coordinator

Before joining Cosmetic Surgery Cyprus, Lynsey graduated with a Master of Science in biological sciences and after graduation embarked upon a successful career in academia in the United Kingdom. Lynsey then moved into the field of medical tourism and was a Senior IVF Patient Coordinator before joining the Cosmetic Surgery Cyprus team.

Lynsey has extensive experience in working with people and excels in delivering a dedicated individual service to each and every patient, taking you through your initial enquiry and preparation to your surgery and beyond. She has a kind and happy personality and will patiently and thoroughly answer all of your questions with ease.
